I'm slender (runs in the family and I've always emphasized brains over muscles) and fit so I can play my favorite high paced sport.
Skiing is one of the most amazing activities out there. Being active in a breathtakingly beautiful environment. Technique, speed, control, being aware of your presence in space.
Apparently, I can pass for a Swiss local, complete with the fabulous accent in my German, at least according to the Germans I gave directions in my favorite mountains.
Not a religious person despite my background, there still is one belief I live up to without restraints: heartfelt love and attraction. To feel attracted to someone who admires you at least as much is a most powerful and blissful feeling.
Even when something starts off more casually, without true mutual attraction and connection it comes to nothing but glorified masturbation. We deserve better.
I’ve been to some places and like to return to and revisit the destinations that pleased me, though I’m not saturated with discovering new places just yet. I feel a connection with Mexico, in part because of living there a short while. The Alps and the Mediterranean region, especially Catalunya, also have personal stories linked to them and occupy special places in my heart. But I feel just as lucky to have lived in the most beautiful city (Utrecht) of my marvelous tiny country.
