I have been travelling and working overseas for many years. Maybe time to come home? My friends call me a nurturer always up for a challenge. My friends say I have a great sense of humour and they love listening to my travelling stories and faux pas! I love cooking and baking and trying out new recipes. I love spoiling my loved ones and am fiercely protective of them. My favourite sport is playing lawn bowls, tennis and swimming. Snorkelling in the Red Sea (where I have timeshare) is my favourite past time. Visiting various countries and experiencing their culture and architecture is always exciting. I love animals and believe each home should have pets. I also love watching sports on TV (rugby, tennis, athletics, biking), going to the movies and eating out. I am also an amateur inventor loving to find new solutions. Writing children's stories is a passion. I am a very positive person who believes there is good in every person. I don't like arguments so will just quietly disappear into the mist if you are an argumentative person. I believe relationships are 50/50 contribution although I usually give 80% - can't help it!! I am at an age where I don't have to prove myself to anyone. However I am fully aware that one is never too old to learn or adjust. I love assisting in charitable projects and teaching people new skills, probably my teaching background! :-) I am truly looking for a soul mate who will accept me for who I am. I am very active and always up for a challenge. I believe there are no problems just issues looking for a solution. Currently on leave in Somerset West until the 22nd of August, then I'll fly back to Dubai again. (Sadly social sites are banned in the UAE!)

She is the most loving, attentive, caring and giving person I have every met. Definitely one of a kind.
As a friend, you could not ask for a better one, she will give you the shirt off her back (and has).

She has a lively and witty conversation, and is extremely interesting to listen to, she has stories, that can make you role on the floor laughing until you cry, or can just make you cry while detailing someone else's misfortune,
Wilma loves a good tale, and has a ready one for each situation. Having lived outside South Africa for so long and travelled extensively, her travelogues are epic and extremely interesting, she has a way of making you want to go to these places, and makes them sound exotic.
She is truly loved and treasured by all who know her.
Anyone that has the good fortune of knowing her, will never let her out of their lives, as to do that, is almost the same as say the sun didn't come out today.
